CLEVELAND, Ohio-Akron and Cleveland are not famous for their relationship is warm and fuzzy.
However two Board real estate, representing 4,500 professionals in Northeast Ohio, is considering a possible merger blurs the lines between city and build a stronger voice, unite to highlight the issues of housing in the region.

Faced with changing technology and a challenging housing market, the local Board is struggling to remain relevant, effective and affordable for its members. Akron area Board of Realtors now could be a great organization, in an effort to combat the loss of paying dues members.
The second board leaders say the discussions that are still in their infancy. But they’re hoping to find out this year if they could pull off a subtle marriage between two major metropolitan real estate boards. “There are many agencies in Northeast Ohio, and there are many organizations that are doing great things,” said Howard “Used” Hanna, President Howard Hanna of Ohio and a member of the Task Force discussed the potential of the Cleveland-Akron deal. “But sometimes, they do the same thing. … If there is a little bit more consolidation, we might get more done. ”
